Mir Jamal Pashayev, Managing Director of Pasha
Holding, Executive Member of the Board of Directors, Pasha Insurance
Mir Jamal Pashayev graduated from the Faculty
of Physics at Moscow State University named after Lomonosov,
and then received Master's degrees in engineering from University
of California and Business School of the American University
in Washington D.C.
In 1999-2000 he worked as a consultant
at the National Bank of Azerbaijan. From 2000 till 2005
he had worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development, where he started as a financial analyst and
was soon promoted to a role of a banker on infrastructure
projects. Since 2005 he was engaged in consulting activities
for large-scale investment projects in the fields of infrastructure,
telecommunications and financial services.
From March 2006
till November 2007 Mr. Jamal Pashayev held the position
of Managing Director at Pasha Insurance.
Starting from December 2007 he has been a Managing Director
of Pasha Holding and executive member of
the Board of Directors, Pasha Insurance.

Board of Directors 
Professor Arif Pashayev graduated from Odessa (Ukraine) Electrical Engineering for Telecom Institute
and then completed his graduate studies at the GIREDMET State Scientific-Research and Projects Institute in Moscow.
With Doctorate in Physics and Mathematics Arif Pashayev grew through the Soviet period into one of the leading national
scientists-practitioners in the semi-conductors physics. Arif Pashayev is an author of more than 400 scientific articles,
30 books and monographs, numerous inventions and patents.
