Ulviyya Jabbarova, Chairman of the Management Board & CEO
Ulviyya Jabbarova possesses more than 10 years of extensive practical experience in various fields of Azerbaijani insurance business. Having graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University with specialization in general practice and started her professional activity in insurance field in 2001, Ulviyya Jabbarova has held various important positions in such fields as medical insurance, organization of medical assistance, life insurance and travel insurance. She had been a Deputy Head of the Medical Insurance Department at A-Group Insurance Company in 2006-2007 and a consultant at the World Bank’s “Health Sector Reforms Project in Azerbaijan” in 2007-2008.
Ulviyya Jabbarova has continued her insurance career with Pasha Insurance since February 2008. Initially starting as a Medical and Travel Insurance Underwriting Coordinator, she was appointed as Medical and Travel Insurance Manager in February 2009, then promoted to the Director of the Medical and Travel Insurance Department in January 2010. During this period Ulviyya had successfully managed the restructuring of the Medical Assistance Service at Pasha Insurance and the introduction of the Quality Management System in the Medical and Travel Insurance Department.
Ulviyya Jabbarova was appointed to a Quality Control System Manager position at Pasha Holding in 2010 and promoted by Pasha Holding’s decision to her current role of Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Pasha Insurance in March 2011. As of August 2012 she was assigned Chief Operating Officer of Pasha Insurance.
Ulviyya Jabbarova is a member of the Travel, Hotel and Tourism Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AMCHAM) and the Medical Insurance Committee of the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan.

Zaur Aliyev, Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Zaur Aliyev graduated from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Great Britain with Bachelor degree on Accounting and Finance in 2003. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2008 and possesses the certificate on International Financial Reporting issued by the same organization.
Zaur started his professional career in 2003 as an auditor in Kazakhstan office of Ernst & Young CIS and later – in January, 2004 he was transferred to Azerbaijan office of the company in the same position. In October 2004, Zaur was appointed Senior Auditor in London office of Ernst & Young LLP and held this position till October 2009. Upon return to Azerbaijan in July 2010 Zaur started his career at Pasha Holding in the position of Audit Manager with the Audit and Monitoring Department and in addition since February 2011 performed functions of a member of the Audit Commission of Pasha Insurance.
In November 2011 Zaur assumed the role of Management Board Member & Chief Finance and Admin Officer of Pasha Insurance. As of September 2012 he was assigned Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Pasha Insurance.

Samaya Novruzova, Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Samaya Novruzova graduated with honors in 1990 from the Azerbaijan State University of Foreign Languages and completed her Masters at the
Azerbaijan University of Technology in 2003. Samaya carries more than 20 years of work experience in education, HR management, management
systems, and quality management.
Samaya started professional carrier with the Swiss SGS Company’s Baku rep office as an Executive Assistant in 1993 and was
promoted to the position of HR & Admin Coordinator in 1996. From 2002 till 2004 she had held a position of International
Certification Services Manager with SGS Azerbaijan. In 2005 Samaya moved to the national business sector where she had held
managerial positions in the food processing and packaging companies with responsibilities for design and implementation of the
corporate quality and food safety management systems.
Samaya Novruzova joined Pasha Insurance’s management team in March 2007 in an HR & Management System Coordinator role
and was soon promoted to the HR & Admin Manager position in 2008. Since 2009 Samaya has been working as an HR & Development
Director of Pasha Insurance. In this role she also manages Company’s Quality Management Team. Samaya Novruzova entered the Company’s Management Board in 2011. As of September 2012 she was assigned Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Pasha Insurance.
Samaya Novruzova has been appointed Executive Education Advisory Board member at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy since January, 2012.
Samaya currently continues her professional studies through Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development program at Nottingham
Trent University (UK) with CIPD Diploma expected in 2013.
